The Fr. Hannas Council has adopted a traveling icon in tradition of the Ukrainian Catholic Church. The Basilian Order has offered our council the use of a traveling icon to be used for spiritual enrichment. In tradition, the traveling icon would be signed out for a one-month period by our members for use in their homes.

The icon has origins from the 19th centuries. During the Communist Era, this icon was removed from a Ukrainian Church. The Basilian Order bought this icon in New York and reconsecrated it.
